EFFECTIVENESS AND ASSESSMENT OF ENGLISH PRODUCTION SKILLS THROUGH AUDIOVISUAL TRANSLATION

This article is framed within a research project based in Spain aimed at studying the use of Audiovisual Translation tools to develop communicative competences for teaching and learning English as Foreign Language. The aims study are get know what extent oral written production skills participants improve thanks implementation an translation-based course, if overall performance post Integrated Skills Test better than pre–Integrated after process. It also prove validity those language assessment tests. A mixed methodology (qualitative quantitative analysis) was used obtain information from participants. Research data collected different universities with initial sample 40 applicants, 8 which finally completed course. Data analysis shows that six audio description-based lesson plans during pilot course offered summer 2021 volunteer adult B2 level language. Furthermore, illustrates results final tests previous ones intervention. We discuss obtained this conclude they harmonious former studies on topic validate development skills. Although, there very limited number sample, we consider may be example trend will explored future, included wider still underway.
